Yellow Stone Resident – “Not exactley Old Faithful”

Residents of this north side Ann Arbor neighborhood woke to a basement “Old Faithful”. A water main break caused major damage to at least a dozen homes. Coach’s, with the cooperation and support of the City of Ann Arbor Utilities Department, came to the aid of the neighborhood. Water and mud flowed into basements. Residents reported as little as an inch or two and up to 17 inches of water, with thick, mud in their homes. Under the direction and leadership of Coach’s Water Restoration Division Manager, Paul Stever, and the dedicated, long hours of the emergency crews, Coach’s was able to complete the extensive restoration work in a couple of days.

Content had to be moved out of basements before restoration work began. The City of Ann Arbor provided dumpsters for unsalvageable contents. Stever stated, “ The techs worked professionally and skillfully for long hours. I was also very impressed with the residents of the neighborhood. Faced with such a huge catastrophe in their homes, they were patient and polite in the face of such adversity.” Stever’s skill in working with them and assuring them they would get excellent service as soon as possible aided the success of this project.
